Contrary to popular belief there is still a world outside of the United States. Just to prove it, we actually attacked Syria the other day.
It didn’t get much media coverage because of the election and even I’m guilty of it. I saw the news breaking and I said, “that’s great, but what’s going on today [...]

Recently Barack Obama’s campaign announced that they will be running 30 minute television ads simultaneously on almost all local and cable stations. It’s supposed to be aired tonight.
Never before in politics has this been seen this late in a campaign, and it shows the money the Obama campaign has.
From my sources inside the campaign, I’ve [...]

So it seems in the waning days of this race to the White House Republicans are split over what should happen to Sarah Palin if they fail to capture the White House.
This is a debate which is getting public at times as we’re hearing from her aides saying “she is going rogue.” “A civil war [...]

It seems the not so honorable 84 year old Senior Senator from Alaska Theodore Fulton Stevens aka Ted Stevens has been found guilty of all seven felony counts he was charged with. These charges stem from gifts received by the senator ranging around a quarter of a million dollars. Some of which were used to [...]

So the countdown has begun. With 8 days left to E-day, Obama looks like he has this election all wrapped up and already two men have been arrested last week plotting to assassinate Obama. Daniel Cowart, 20, and Paul Schlesselman, 18, were self-described white supremacists who were arrested arrested for possession of sawed off shotgun [...]

Today, local police officers working in conjunction with federal agents arrested two Neo-Nazi skinheads in Tennessee who planned to assassinate Democratic Presidential Nominee Barack Obama.
According to recently released court documents the men planned to rob a gun store and go on a killing spree in a predominately black high school.
They planned to kill 88 people [...]

It pains me to report another school shooting. At the University of Central Arkansas two shots were fired last night around 9:20pm which stole the peacefulness from this University.
Two students have been left dead in this tragic crime.
It seems that it has become a common and what bothers me, an accepted reality, that there will [...]

I can’t believe it’s almost over. At times it seems like the longest campaign ever, at times the shortest. Today in Colorado in front of an audience of 100,000 Barack Obama reminded us why we are here.
“The reason that all of us are here is because somewhere in the past we had a parent or [...]

So recently John Murtha (D-PA) made some statements which drew outcries from local and national media as racist.
He said “Well, they’re going to have a tough time. You know, I — there’s no question, western Pennsylvania is a racist area. When I say a racist area, I mean they — the older people are hesitant, [...]

It seems as if the College Republicans here at St. John’s just don’t know when to quit. The last we heard of them at the Constitution day debate they said guns were insurance, yet when asked if that insurance was worth the lives of students lost at Virginia tech, they didn’t answer.
Recently at a [...]
