Who We Are

We are the St. John’s University College Democrats. We believe that true political change begins with informed and educated voters. Our mission as a Student Organization is two fold: to inform the general public about the issues and encourage people to vote. Working from the ground up, our ultimate goal is to see as many members of the Democratic party elected into office as possible. The Democratic Party has shown the strength, determination, and strong judgement so desperately needed in these recently tumultuous times, and we are proud to support them in their endeavors. We have made a committment to support the party, and the party principles by conducting community service events, involving the youth in their government, and conveying vital information to the voting public.

St. John’s University College Democrats is a member group of College Democrats of New York, College Democrats of America, and the official wing of the Democratic Party at St. John’s.
